Defining Material Standards for Minimally Invasive Surgical Robots

In the healthcare industry, minimally invasive robotic surgical systems are regarded as critical equipment that combines precision engineering with clinical safety. Their sterile protection systems must meet extremely stringent quality and regulatory requirements. In this project, DingZing partnered with a leading brand in robotic surgical systems, establishing a deep collaboration within this highly demanding application environment.

Unlike traditional supply models that simply provide materials according to predefined specifications, DingZing participated in the project from the early stage of requirement definition. Leveraging its in-house TPU raw materials and the capability to independently formulate material compounds, DingZing worked backward from real application needs to define the required material properties. The team collaborated closely with the customer to establish product specifications and testing standards, laying the foundation for subsequent regulatory validation and mass production.

To meet the demanding requirements of minimally invasive surgery—including rapid installation, secure fitting, and high operational stability—DingZing applied its cross-industry experience and vertically integrated material capabilities. Systematic optimization was carried out across material structure, formulation flexibility, film thickness control, and processing conditions.

Clinical feedback indicated that the final solution can stably conform to the robotic surgical system, reducing slippage and operational interference so that surgeons can focus more on the procedure itself. Supported by mature supply chain integration and high-volume stable manufacturing capabilities, DingZing has become a trusted long-term solution partner for customers in critical medical applications.
