DingZing’s Three Core Businesses Advance in Unison, Driving Second-Highest December and Full-Year Revenue on Record for the Same Period

DingZing Advanced Materials, a leading manufacturer of high-tech TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) films (TWSE: 6585), today announced consolidated revenue of NT$290 million for December, marking the second-highest level for the same period in its history and the highest monthly level in the past nine months. Revenue rose 26.8% month-over-month, mainly driven by strong shipment momentum from electronics customers, whose new devices were well received by the market and continued to benefit from ongoing replacement demand. In addition, the automotive and medical businesses maintained stable growth, narrowing the year-over-year decline significantly to 2.46%.

Supported by contributions from its three major business segments—automotive, medical, and electronics—DingZing reported fourth-quarter consolidated revenue of NT$730 million, up 10.18% quarter-over-quarter and down 9.35% year-over-year. Full-year 2025 consolidated revenue totaled NT$2.85 billion, down 13.21% from the previous year. Although results were affected by a higher comparison base in the prior year, the company has begun to see a gradual recovery in customer demand.

Looking ahead to this year, DingZing believes it has moved past the bottom of its business cycle and is striving to return to a growth trajectory while continuing to strengthen its presence in its three core high-margin sectors. In automotive, the company is the exclusive supplier of PPF (paint protection film) to major global brands, and as tariff-related uncertainties gradually ease, order pull-in has begun to stabilize. In medical, long-term supply partnerships with customers have helped establish a solid foundation for operations. In electronics, shipment momentum continues to build as customers’ new device sales remain strong.

The automotive industry faced a turbulent environment last year, with multiple challenges including tariff uncertainties, rising supply chain costs, and reduced electric vehicle subsidies. However, according to data from international research institutions, U.S. vehicle sales reached 16.2 million units last year, increasing 2.4% year-over-year against the trend, while major automakers also reported strong sales performance, providing a boost of confidence to the industry. Backed by its technological advantages in high-tech TPU films, DingZing has been accelerating production to meet order demand as its automotive customers expand into new markets.

According to market research reports, supported by strong demand for new devices, rapid growth in emerging markets, and a recovery in demand in China, global smartphone shipments are projected to reach 1.25 billion units in 2025, up 1.5% year-over-year, signaling that the industry has successfully emerged from its downturn. In recent years, DingZing has continued to deepen its presence in electronic materials and maintain close collaborative development with customers. The company is optimistic that electronic materials will become one of its future growth drivers.
