               DINTEX® Upright-Cup Testing Method
1. JIS L 1099 A-1 is the most commonly used standard. The test specimen is sealed to the open mouth of a test dish containing desiccant cacl2 and the assembly placed upright in a controlled atmosphere where the temperature is 40oC and the relative humidity is 90%. 2.Periodic weighings determine the rate of water vapor movement through the specimen from the controlled atmosphere into the desiccant. The result is indicated in g/m2x24hrs.
